Conservation Ethos is two things at once: a genuine commitment to the natural world — to conservation, anti-poaching, and the people closest to the land — and a management consulting practice that helps conservation operations run better. Both are real, and neither is a marketing exercise.
Our Mission
Conservation begins with proximity: not a campaign or a corporate donation, but actual time in the field, a real relationship with the land, and a working understanding of what it takes to protect it. That proximity is what Conservation Ethos was built from.
Conservation is not the domain of scientists and large institutions alone. The landowner deciding how to use their land, the reserve manager balancing financial sustainability against ecological integrity, these decisions matter as much as any field study. Conservation Ethos works alongside them.
More conservation operations that are financially sustainable. More landowners who understand the management disciplines that protect what they own. More land protected as a result. That is the goal.

Protecting species, ecosystems, and natural habitats. Promoting biodiversity awareness, human-wildlife coexistence, and species conservation across Southern Africa.
Advocating for responsible land use, habitat preservation, pollution reduction, and sustainable outdoor practices. Healthy ecosystems sustain all life, including ours.
Supporting awareness around the responsible rescue, relocation, and rehabilitation of wildlife. Promoting best practices and the importance of qualified rescue efforts. Every rescue is an opportunity to educate.
Illegal wildlife trafficking and poaching remain among the greatest threats to Africa's biodiversity. Conservation Ethos supports awareness initiatives that highlight the impact of poaching and the importance of community-led conservation.
Providing accessible information covering wildlife identification, biodiversity awareness, ecosystem understanding, and responsible outdoor behaviour. The more people understand, the more likely they are to act.
Documenting wildlife encounters, ecological observations, and conservation initiatives from the field. People protect what they have learned to notice.
Working with Conservation Operations
Conservation Ethos brings management consulting discipline to conservation operations, the operational and commercial challenges that conservation organisations face and rarely have the right support for.
Where engagements need ecological, legal, or environmental specialist input, Conservation Ethos works with qualified Delivery Partners.
Our Commitment
Conservation Ethos is a long-term commitment, not a project with a timeline.
The conservation challenge is enormous, but the response doesn't have to start that way.
